2018 HB 5307: An Act Concerning Sports Wagering In The State.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 12-565a of the 2018 supplement to the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

The Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, to regulate wagering on sporting events to the extent permitted by state law and when federal law is enacted or repealed or a federal court decision is issued that affirms the authority of a state to regulate such wagering.
